6. Sharing and storage of data

Your personal data are stored on secure servers hosted by Stablepoint (UK).

We may share limited data with trusted providers who help us operate the site or deliver our services, such as:

  • South Pier Media Ltd (United Kingdom) – provides website hosting, maintenance and technical support. Acts as a data processor on our behalf and processes personal data only as needed to provide these services, under a written data-processing agreement ensuring UK GDPR compliance.
  • MailerSend Inc. (United States) – provides our secure SMTP email-relay service for contact-form and system emails. MailerSend processes sender and recipient contact details and message content solely to deliver emails on our behalf. Data are transferred to the U.S. under the UK Government’s Data Bridge to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses, as applicable.
  • Email hosting providers within the UK or EEA.
  • Website security and performance tools (Wordfence, LiteSpeed Cache).
  • Analytics software (self-hosted Matomo on our own UK server).

All processors are bound by contracts ensuring UK GDPR compliance. Where data are transferred outside the UK or EEA, appropriate safeguards are applied to protect your information.

7. International data transfers

Because MailerSend is located in the United States, some email metadata and message content are processed there when you submit a contact form. These transfers are made under the UK Government’s recognised adequacy mechanism (the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or, where necessary, the ICO’s International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. This ensures your personal data receive a level of protection equivalent to UK law.

8. Data retention

We keep data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose collected and to meet legal or accounting requirements. Enquiry emails are normally retained for up to 12 months unless they lead to an ongoing client relationship.

9. Your rights

  • Access – request a copy of your personal data.
  • Rectification – correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure – request deletion where data are no longer needed.
  • Restriction or Objection – limit or stop certain processing.
  • Portability – receive your data in a portable format.

To exercise any right, contact enquiries@a3c.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): https://ico.org.uk.

10. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including HTTPS encryption, firewall protection, regular updates and restricted administrative access.
